My favorite quick service location in EPCOT is Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco pavilion. It’s one of the best values in the park for the amount of food served (it’s also my favorite hidden coffee spot). There are two vegetarian menu items that can be made vegan friendly, the vegetarian platter and the falafel wrap. The vegetarian platter is usually my go-to item because it’s incredibly shareable. However, on my most recent visit, I decided to try the falafel wrap. This wrap is served with hummus, lettuce, tomato, onion, Tzatziki sauce. It also comes with a side of couscous and lentil salad.
The couscous salad is the same as the one served in Spice Road Table. I love the sweet and savory flavor combination of this salad. The falafel wrap was also satisfying. There weren’t any overpowering spices for guests who might be afraid to try new flavors. That doesn’t mean the falafel wrap is bland. This meal has just the right amount of sauce and flavors to make it enjoyable for those of us who do like exotic flavors.
Unlike the platter, the wrap is much harder to share. I would recommend the platter over the wrap if two people want to share a filling meal. The platter comes with almost everything in the falafel wrap, but it is $4 more.
