Earlier this summer, a new DOLE Whip flavor was introduced at the Magic Kingdom…strawberry! I finally had the chance to try it in the form of the Redd’s Revenge float (strawberry soft-serve on top of strawberry Fanta). It was delicious! The strawberry DOLE Whip tastes like Laffy Taffy, which I love. It was refreshing and not too sweet. I’m enjoying all of the new DOLE Whip flavors, and I can’t wait to see what other character cones and floats Disney comes up with using this new flavor. Here are some of my fantasy treats using strawberry DOLE Whip:
Aurora Float- Strawberry DOLE Whip over blue raspberry Fanta and topped with a gold, white chocolate crown.
Miss Piggy Sundae- Strawberry DOLE Whip with grape and strawberry NERDS candies and a wafer with Miss Piggy on it (like the Donald treat at Sunshine Tree Terrace). While I’m on the topic of the Muppets, I would also like to see a Kermit the Frog sundae (lime DOLE Whip with rainbow NERDS candies and a wafer with Kermit playing the banjo under a rainbow).
You can currently find the strawberry DOLE Whip at the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom, but it will probably make more appearances around Disney property.
