Let’s face it. Sometimes I want to experience a little bit of that Disney pixie dust without actually going into a hot and crowded park. Luckily, Disney World offers experiences for those moments. Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf is one of those experiences. Located in the Epcot resort area, this mini golf course will transport you into the magically musical world of Fantasia.
I love the Fantasia films and this activity is a must-do for anyone else who is a fan of these films. The 18 hole course meanders through whimsical garden topiaries and statues that have some surprises in store. While you make your way through the gardens, you’ll be serenaded by the sounds of Gershwin, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky,
I have to admit that the course could use a little TLC, but it’s still quite an enjoyable activity to do on a non-park day. We did this activity at night and I think the minor upkeep needed was less apparent at that time of day. It also felt a bit more magical at night.
This is also one of the more affordable activities around Walt Disney World. Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf costs $14 per adult and $12 per child. Annual passholders get a discount. There is also a Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course for those who may be looking to work on skill without the whimsy.
