Summer is a time for adventure and escapism. As a kid, I would go deep into my imagination and pretend like I was off to sea or exploring some unknown civilization. These adventures would take place outside with my friends or inside my mind after I delved into a great story from a book or film. Disney has put out a number of great adventure films over the years that ignited my imagination, and I have compiled a list of my favorites that I believe capture the adventure of summertime.
