Welcome to Theme Park Anthropologist! I’m your exploration guide to the magical realms of theme parks. I am a self proclaimed theme park anthropologist gone native. My first introduction to the theme park experience, like most people, was as a small child. Like a rite of passage, I stepped into a fantasy world filled with whimsy. As I reluctantly became an adult, I still found myself intrigued and pulled to these exotic lands where fact and fiction, dreams and reality, and magic and science bled into one another.
