Sugar and Spice Menu Pairings at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays

It’s never truly the holidays until the air is thick with the sweet smells of spice and sugar.  What smells more festive than warm gingerbread cookies baking in the oven and cinnamon and cloves simmering on the stove?  In honor of sugar and spice and everything nice season, I’ve decided to highlight the sweetest and spiciest food and drink options at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. Will you try any of these items this year?

Sugar: Black Forest Roulade with Cherry Whipped Cream

Spice: Glühwein: House-made Hot Spiced Wine

Sugar: Chocolate Pecan Tart with Whipped Cream and Whisky-caramel Sauce

Sugar: Horchata Cheesecake: Creamy Rice Cheesecake served with Cajeta Sauce

Spice: Holiday Cider: Hard Apple Cider with Cinnamon-infused Tequila

Spice: Mexican Fruit Punch: Mezcal, Red Wine and Blackcurrant Liqueur infused with Star Anise, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger and Orange Peel (served warm)
